The double-column vertical turning lathe with a travelling portal combines the advantages of a vertical turning lathe and a portal machining center. We are able to meet almost all customer requirements in terms of workpiece size. A table load capacity of up to 1,100 tonnes speaks for itself.
The main parts of the machine are made of castings, so you can always rely on high rigidity, geometric accuracy and a long machine service life. The modular design concept ensures high variability in machine configuration. In addition to turning internal and external surfaces, the ČKD SKDY also enables milling, thread turning, grinding, drilling, boring and other operations.
